African Alliance for Maternal Mental Health (AAMMH) is an alliance of organisations and individuals working together to improve the mental health of mothers in Africa. It is part of the Global Alliance of Maternal Mental Health and works in close collaboration with the Marcé Society African Regional Group. AAMMH calls for multi-level action to tackle the causes of poor maternal mental health in Africa, and believes that this is critical to the success of efforts to meet the UN Sustainable Development Goals on health (SDG 3), nutrition (SDG 2) and gender equality (SDG 5).

MGHAmmon-Pinizzotto Center for Women’s Mental Health at MGH was established in 1989 in order to provide state-of-the-art evaluation and treatment of psychiatric disorders associated with female reproductive function including premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD), pregnancy-associated mood disturbance, postpartum psychiatric illness, and peri- and post-menopausal depression. IMMT is one of the most active groups with a high degree of positive engagement with 1740+ active members and 2 WhatsApp groups. Till date, Neha has single-handedly organized 33 in-person women-only meetups, 3 large social gatherings &1 career mentorship event. Through the group, at least 552 women have connected in person and hundreds of them have connected & benefitted virtually via Facebook or WhatsApp in a new country.
