Now as a married mom she’s stepping back into the writing world to cover important topics that need to be addressed more and destigmatized. Verdi currently resides in Northern Virginia with her wonderful husband and adorable children. She hopes to pave a way for women to discuss uncomfortable but vital conversations. Writing about postpartum depression gives her the opportunity to not only educate others, but to offer a safe space for those worried about being judged, misunderstood, or who are otherwise afraid of facing this misinterpreted serious health concern. She hopes her message of hope will inspire those who need it most and that she’ll help change the lives of women who deserve better than to suffer in silence. Country: USA

Becoming Conscious Beings is psychotherapist based in India, with 4+ years of experience working in the field of Mental health & well-being. I believe in understanding & working with individuals in a holistic manner for their journey of healing and wellbeing.
In my experience of therapy and in my own life, I have noticed and am keen on providing services for mothers throughout their motherhood journey, right from the time of conception. This is because, that  also inadvertently aids in ensuring resilience and innate protective factors for the baby from the risk of developing grave distress. Also, in their pregnancy, the mothers receive a lot of medical care, but not so much support for their wellbeing and mental health. That, tends to also have an impact on her physiological health and autoimmunity. Hence, I provide therapy services, and am open to fcailitating support groups and listening circles for the mothers (pregnant, new mothers, mothers facing trouble at any stage of their life).
Also, I believe there is much to do for acknowledging and providing support to mothers who have been in their Parenting journey for a while, as gradually their overall health, mental health and identity also get impacted. Country: India
